What’s my Personal Experience?
It might sound a bit corny but I often compare being a social media manager, and certainly a freelance / self-employed one at that, to being the 12th man of a football team, or the 5th Beatle in the band. By that, I mean that I get to embrace a new challenge with every company that I work with and wear their hat and fly their flag and really invest in their company. I’m able to embark on a rewarding journey as their social media manager.
But it’s important to remember that success can look different for every company and the progress can happen at a faster or slower pace for each company as well. Remember, success in this role as a social media manager comes from a combination of creativity, adaptability, and a passion for connecting with audiences in the ever-evolving digital realm across different industries. So it will take time but be positive and confident in your ability and skill!
